Rodrigo Cerveira, Vice President of Credit Risk and Loan Service
Rodrigo Cerveira’s passion for microfinance and entrepreneurship led him on a path to his current position as Vice President of Credit Risk and Loan Service for Ascendus. He started with the organization in 2007 as a Loan Consultant in the Boston office, helping small business owners to start and grow their businesses. He has strategically managed numerous lending programs from New England to Florida including the SBA Community Advantage program. His experience and commitment to the small business community is evident as he manages the client servicing team to expedite and deploy the capital entrepreneurs need to support growth and sustainability of their businesses.
Rodrigo graduated from Unigran, Brazil with a BS in Architecture and Urbanism, studied Project Management at Catholic University of Brasilia, Brazil, and has a Master of Business Administration from Rollins College, FL. He is originally from Brazil and is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. He is currently an active managing board member of the National Entrepreneurship Center in Orlando, FL, volunteers for the First Baptist Orlando, and has volunteered at his local Food Bank. He enjoys music and singing; and traveling provides him an opportunity to experience other cultures.
