But with an Ascendus loan, new and returning clients who qualify can receive $50,000 of Term Life insurance and $50,000 of Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance to protect their household from the financial impacts of a serious accident. Ascendus will bear the cost of all the insurance payments.

How to Receive No-Cost Insurance

Step 1: To be eligible you must be a new or returning Ascendus client, 18-64 years old, a resident of New York State, and one of the first 120 clients to apply, sign up and have your loan approved.

Step 2: Sign up for an account after closing your loan. If you don’t sign up, you will not be able to name your beneficiary or receive notifications of your status.

Step 3: Make your first loan payment. Insurance will be active the following month. You will not be asked any medical questions or be needed to take any tests.

Step 4: Make on-time loan payments every month to keep your coverage active. If you miss payments on your loan, you will lose the benefit.

Once your insurance is active and you continue to make on-time loan payments, you will continue to receive $50,000 in Term Life and $50,000 in AD&D coverage with no additional cost to you for the entire duration of your loan.
