Your Key to Business Growth – Focusing on Financial Health

At Ascendus, we’re here to do more than just talk about financial health—we’re here to make it work for you. Financial health is the foundation that helps business owners access the capital needed to grow and succeed. When you’re financially healthy, you’re in a stronger position to qualify for loans, secure the resources to expand, and make your business vision a reality.

  • What is Financial Health?:
Financial health goes beyond numbers—it’s a comprehensive measure of financial stability, resilience, and readiness to grow. By focusing on financial health, we’re able to support business owners with practical insights that strengthen their ability to save, borrow, grow, and thrive.
  • Why Financial Health Matters to Small Business Owners:
Financial health is a pathway to opportunity. Small business owners with stronger financial health are more likely to access capital, overcome challenges, and grow sustainably. Through improved financial health, clients can build the savings and credit they need to expand their business with a higher level of confidence.
  • How Ascendus Supports Financial Health:
With our Financial Health approach, we provide tools and insights to strengthen your business finances and increase your borrowing potential. We’ve helped clients across the country transform their businesses by improving their financial standing, building credit, and gaining access to essential funding. Ascendus uses financial health as a key measurement throughout your loan application and repayment journey, guiding you toward financial resilience so you can focus on what truly matters—expanding your business.

We’re here to support you every step of the way!

HONORING VETERANS

We observed Veterans Day earlier this month, and we’d like to take a moment to acknowledge and honor the brave men and women who have served our country. Their dedication, sacrifice, and resilience inspire us every day. At Ascendus, we’re proud to support veterans who are pursuing their entrepreneurial dreams, and we remain committed to helping them achieve financial health and business success.

One such story is that of Aaron, an inspirational veteran entrepreneur.

MAXIMIZE YOUR E-COMMERCE STRATEGY FOR HOLIDAY SUCCESS

As holiday shopping ramps up, your e-commerce presence is more important than ever. Here are a few ways to make sure you’re ready for the season:

  • Optimize Your Website: A smooth, fast website experience is essential, especially during high-traffic shopping days. Ensure your product descriptions are clear, images are high-quality, and checkout is streamlined.
  • Enhance Customer Service: Responding quickly to inquiries, providing clear shipping information, and offering flexible return policies can help build trust and keep customers coming back.
  • Engage on Social Media: Use social media to showcase holiday promotions, highlight new products, and engage with followers. A strong online presence can help drive both in-store and online sales.

EXPAND YOUR PAYMENT OPTIONS TO BOOST HOLIDAY SALES

Offering flexible payment options can make a big difference during the holiday season. Expanding your payment methods to include options like Apple Pay, Venmo, and other digital wallets can help you reach more customers who prefer the ease and speed of these platforms. Studies show that businesses offering diverse payment options experience higher conversion rates, as shoppers are more likely to complete a purchase when their preferred method is available.

For more information on expanding your payment options and the benefits they bring, revisit our article from last year.

STORIES OF ASCENSION

Introducing Quontay’s Story: Growing a Dream with Ascendus

Quontay

Meet Quontay, the visionary behind Emerald City Plant Shop, Boston’s first Black-owned plant nursery. Inspired by the rise in plant popularity during the pandemic, Quontay started by selling plants at local markets before establishing her own shop. With expansion in mind, she secured an Ascendus Line of Credit, enabling her to remodel the store, hire staff, and stock up on inventory. The LOC didn’t just benefit her business; it also enriched her community. Her remodel included a café to draw in more customers and a gathering space for community events, meetings, and classes.

For more on Quontay’s inspirational journey, stay tuned for this year’s Stories of Ascension video, releasing soon!
